Graeme’s background is Banking, Business Accounting and Retail Consulting for Financial Institutions including major Banks and senior Accounting Receivership Firms which led to Business Broking during the ‘recession” circa 1990. He has been in the Newsagency Industry for all his adult life owning many newsagencies as well starting many retail businesses - Bookshops and a retail Sports and Toys warehouse of 2,000 m2. Graeme has held senior Administrative positions as Vice -President within the newsagency industry and later as Chief Executive Officer of the Newsagents Association of NSW & ACT. Graeme is committed to assisting in the transition of old model newsagencies into new business models involving widespread, local community and consumer participation.

Graeme has successfully consulted on behalf of Shopping Centre Management for establishing and running a newsagency as well as advising for rent relief and assistance in uplifting other newsagency businesses’ performance. This wealth of experience has put Graeme in good stead when selling businesses.

Graeme is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Business Brokers. Graeme’s experience and knowledge of the newsagency market is second to none. His feasibility studies for existing and new stores, database of newsagency indicators for benchmarking and his preparation of financial reports reflects in his brokerage, being the leader in newsagency sales for more than 20 years.
